What is AdmissionsDirectory?
Are you stressed about getting into college? Or need good information on a particular topic, like SAT test preparation, financial aid or getting a scholarship? Answers to these questions, and many more, are someplace on the internet, but finding them can be an impossible task. And even when you find college admissions resources how do you know if they're any good?
AdmissionsDirectory is the answer to these questions and the first place you should turn for help. We're the first member-generated directory of college admissions resources with summaries of hundreds of resources on the Internet. As our members are searching the net for admissions information they're posting the best of what they find at AdmissionsDirectory.com. Member ratings of the content and their comments help guide you to the best and most helpful resources among all that we've gathered.
Getting Started with AdmissionsDirectory.com
Finding Admissions Information
Have a college admissions question? Researching a particular admissions topic? Interested in a specific college? It's easy with AdmissionsDirectory.com. No registration is required. Just use one of these three ways to search the AD.com content.
- Click a major category link in the blue bar at the top of the page (e.g. college costs, scholarships) to see all the content in that category, with the most highly rated items at the top of the list.
- Click a phrase from the tag box in the right column. Click 'read more' in the tag box to see the complete list of tags. All content with the tag you select will be displayed.
- Type a word or a phrase into the search box in the top-right corner of the screen.
Rating or Commenting on Content
AdmissionDirectory guides you to the best content on the web via our members' ratings and comments. You too can join our community and help make the resources on AD.com more useful for everyone. First you need to join here which just takes a minute or two really! Once a member we need you to:
- vote for content you like by clicking the green '+' or diss content that was a waste of time by clicking the red '-'
- leave a comment if you have something that will help your fellow members when they're browsing this content in the future.
